About the Job

The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our computer systems and data.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement cybersecurity regulations, standards, and controls to protect our organization's assets.
  2. Monitor and respond to cyber incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  3. Analyze and interpret ICT-related data to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  4. Prepare and present detailed cybersecurity reports to management and stakeholders.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discuss and resolve ICT/cybersecurity audit/compliance/regulatory issues.
  6. Maintain professional certifications such as Security+, CCNA, CCNP, NSE4A to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and empower team members to excel in their roles.
  8. Promote quality, accountability, and ethical practices in project and change management.
  9. Mentor and develop talent within cybersecurity functions.

Requirements


  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is required.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in incident handling and reporting is preferred.
  3. Professional certifications related to incident response are desirable.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  5. Knowledge of network security zones, firewall configurations, and IDS policies is necessary.
  6. Understanding of system communications from Layer 1 to 7 is required.
  7. Experience with Systems Administration, Middleware, and Application Administration is preferred.
  8. Proficiency with log search tools and regular expressions is essential.
  9. Knowledge of packet capture and analysis is necessary.
  10. Experience with Security Assessment tools (NMAP, Nessus, Metasploit, Netcat) is desirable.
