Senior Petrophysicist

You will provide operational and study petrophysics support to exploration and producing assets. You will also perform performance evaluations, focusing on efforts to optimise operations and recovery, aligning with both petrophysical function and reservoir management teams. You must have mentored Junior staff and ideally be able to implement a Nationalisation programme. You must also have shale gas, tight gas and other unconventional experience. You must also be able to create and follow FDPs and FFRs.

Bachelor\'s Degree in Geoscience or Engineering Discipline.

• 15+ years of Petrophysical Engineering experience within the oil industry, service company or producer within the Middle East region
• Sufficient exposure is required in logging operations, core measurements, laboratory experiment follow up, data interpretation, and logging contractor follow up and integrated reservoir studies
• Must be current with the latest industry tools and petrophysical interpretation techniques working with both clastic and carbonate reservoir systems
• Knowledgeable in petrophysical and geological analysis integration.
• Experience in Techlog essential
• Willing to work in integrated teams and have the ability to interact effectively with geoscientists and reservoir, operations, drilling and facilities engineers
• Must be able to work under pressure and provide input in short project timelines
