Duties and Responsibilities

As F&B Supervisor, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the following:

  1. Review bookings and plan for smooth department operation during shifts.
  2. Ensure the F&B area is checked prior to opening to guests, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment, and high standards of maintenance.
  3. Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and comments.
  4. Assist in scheduling, training, and providing feedback to F&B Hosts.
  5. Supervise the F&B team.
  6. Work with an empathetic attitude.
  7. Ensure prompt and efficient service according to standards.
  8. Ensure all mise-en-place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hours.
  9. Maintain good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and daily F&B activities.
  10. Know the opening hours of all F&B outlets.
  11. Be familiar with menu prices and suggest upselling when appropriate.
  12. Ensure all departmental equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
  13. Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
  14. Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications

To succeed as an F&B Supervisor, I must possess the necessary qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, with proven results, including:

  1. A high school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of restaurant experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
  2. Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  3. Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit, or valid health/food handler card as required by local regulations.
  4. Excellent command of written and spoken English; ability to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
