Duties And Responsibilities

As Experiences Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:

  • I will ensure that all policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced.
  • I will monitor and conduct excursions and activities inside and outside the resort in a safe and efficient manner, providing a high standard of service to guests.
  • I will provide accurate information about available activities, equipment usage rules, and regulations.
  • I will ensure that Experiences hosts deliver exceptional service, exceeding guest expectations.
  • I will support the Director of Rooms / Resort Manager, focusing on rejuvenating the guest experience. I will constantly assess experiences, services, and products to keep them relevant and aligned with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
  • I will collaborate with Front Office, F&B, and other departments to meet guest needs and oversee the smooth operation of guest experiences.
  • I will have thorough knowledge of all resort facilities and services, understand policies on reservations and no-shows, and determine activity rates based on resort selling tactics.
  • I will interact professionally, courteously, and positively with guests and hosts, proactively seeking feedback.
  • I will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. In case of complaints, I will carry out service recovery or delegate this to hosts, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • I will uphold Six Senses guidelines, standards of service, and operational procedures, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
  • I will strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications

To succeed as Experiences Manager, I must possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within luxury hotels, including:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management, with over three years of experience in a comparable hotel operational role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with hotel systems such as OPERA, and knowledge of policies related to guest activities and excursions.
  • Experience with hospitality operations, including emergency drills, water sports, and recreational facilities.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live in remote locations for extended periods and travel on single status.
