We are looking for a Finance Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, with full ownership of Financial and accounting strategies with accountability to the Corporate Financial Director, including but not limited to, GL process owner, ensuring IFRS compliance, monthly GL maintenance and closure, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory regulations, complying with banking reporting requirements. He will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, managing finance operations and cash flow and liquidity, ensuring compliance with tax laws and financial regulations, and overseeing risk management. He also contributes to cost control, and resource allocation while supporting strategic goals. Additionally, he will lead some team members, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability."

Main Duties:

  1. General Ledger Leadership ensuring compliance with IFRS.
  2. Establish proper internal controls wherever necessary, ensuring process improvement and Cost control measures are in place.
  3. Finalization of Financial Statements, Notes to Accounts & Compliance
  4. Responsible on timely submission of Statutory Returns.
  5. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annually MIS for top management as and when required
  6. Review and discussion of periodical MIS reports with Department heads, and presentation of potential cost efficiency plans.
  7. Liaising with External & Internal Auditors and ensure smooth conduct of Annual and interim audit.
  8. Liaising with the Bankers and ensure proper arrangement of funds.
  9. Implement strong Working Capital management, by ensuring strong cashflow controls.
  10. Assist the top management in decision making through Management Accounting tools
  11. Be familiar with the existing ERP system and take part in developing modules and co-ordination with the IT Manager.

Job Requirements:

  1. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred). or Equivalent.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
  1. Minimum Experience:
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in financial management roles or Big 4.
  1. Language:
  • Fluent in English and Arabic Speaking, Writing and Reading.
  1. Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Sultanate of Oman financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
  • Excellent team engagement, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
