Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Scoping

Define project objectives, deliverables, success criteria and develop detailed plans (schedules, milestones, resource allocations) that align with stakeholder requirements.

Agile Process Leadership

Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and retrospectives; ensure the team follows Scrum/Kanban practices to deliver iteratively and incrementally.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Serve as the central point of contact between front-end (Svelte, Tailwind, PostCSS), back-end (FastAPI, PostgreSQL), DevOps (Google Cloud), design/UI, QA, and third-party API (e.g., ChatGPT API) teams to keep everyone synchronized.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide regular status updates (reports, dashboards, demos) to executives, product owners and clients; manage expectations and incorporate feedback promptly.

Risk & Issue Management

Proactively identify technical, schedule or resource risks; own mitigation plans and escalate critical issues when necessary.

Quality Assurance Oversight

Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, accessibility) are met through proper testing strategies and acceptance criteria.

Budget & Vendor Management

Track project budgets, approve expenditures, negotiate with external vendors or contractors, and ensure cost-effective delivery.

Change Control

Evaluate change requests, assess impacts on scope/time/cost, and drive formal approval processes to keep the project on track.

Deployment & Release Coordination

Plan and oversee deployments to Google Cloud environments, coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, and manage roll-out/roll-back procedures.

Post-Launch Review

Conduct retrospectives and lessons-learned sessions; document best practices and drive continuous process improvements.

Skills

Required SkillsAgile & Scrum Proficiency

– Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience

– Sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand-ups, retrospectives

Technical Understanding

– Front-end: Svelte, Tailwind CSS, PostCSS

– Back-end: FastAPI (Python), PostgreSQL

– Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions)

– API integrations (RESTful services, ChatGPT API and other third-party APIs)

DevOps & CI/CD

– Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps workflows

– Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines

Project Management Tools

– Jira, Trello or Asana for issue tracking

– Confluence or similar for documentation

Stakeholder Communication

– Excellent written and verbal communication

– Ability to tailor updates for technical teams, executives, and clients

Risk & Budget Management

– Proactive risk identification and mitigation planning

– Cost estimation, budget tracking, and vendor negotiation

Quality Assurance Oversight

– Defining acceptance criteria and working with QA/test teams

– Ensuring performance, security, and accessibility standards

Leadership & Collaboration

– Team motivation, conflict resolution, cross-functional coordination

– Strong decision-making and problem-solving under pressure

Analytical & Organizational Skills

– Data-driven monitoring of KPIs and project metrics

– Exceptional time management and prioritization
