Job DescriptionThe Clerk performs all technical support, administrative tasks, and duties as required to support the operations of the Amentum Facilities Maintenance staff. Responsible for PSO Headquarters and GPMS sites' facilities' special initiatives and preventive maintenance programs, implementation of computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and coordinating activities. Manages scheduling and tracking of "work orders" from initiation through completion. Updates, reviews, annotates, files all related historical records, and assists Facilities Maintenance staff in submission of required reports. Ensures compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Principal Accountabilities- Create manual historical records for facilities maintenance assets subject to periodic maintenance.
- Keep Facility Maintenance record binders and electronic records up to date from various sources.
- Assist in updating the real property listing for all sites annually.
- Maintain a technical library on Facility Maintenance and Fixed Equipment.
- Input equipment data and update maintenance details in the CMMS system.
- Log all scheduled and unscheduled work orders for the Facilities Maintenance Team.
- Receive and pass all completed work orders to the Supervisor for review.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports on completed and outstanding work orders.
- Prepare Facilities Maintenance related briefings and reports.
- Establish a filing system for all office documents, files, and project books related to Facilities Maintenance.
- Accompany Facilities Maintenance staff on field and site visits as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work in maintenance shop or warehouse environment; may be required to work outdoors for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills; able to understand, speak, read, and write English at an intermediate level.
- Proficient in personal computers, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Valid driver's license.
- May be required to operate material handling equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
- Must wear proper PPE as per procedures and tasks.
- Physically capable of performing all duties; able to lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs and handle equipment.
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
- Technical background with training in AutoCAD and CMMC (or Maximo).
- Three years of administrative experience preferred.
- Technical training in computer use and Administrative Management software preferred.
