Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting using Power BI.

Responsibilities
  1. Power BI Development: Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  2. Data Analysis: Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  3. Business Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  4. Technical Support: Troubleshoot Power BI issues and optimize performance and user experience.
  5. Integration: Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
  6. Training & Documentation: Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for Power BI solutions.
  7. Advanced Analytics: Implement DAX calculations and leverage advanced Power Query features.
  8. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver insights-driven solutions.
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in data analysis or related field is a plus.
Certifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (mandatory)
  • Additional certifications such as Azure Data Analyst, Power Platform Solution Architect, SQL, DAX, and others are preferred.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI development.
  • Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources.
  • Excellent understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and consulting experience.
