Senior Auditor Integrated Commercial Audit

Purpose: To plan & execute audit in accordance with the audit standards and produce reports and recommendations. To perform sufficient tests, including analysis of data, to provide reasonable assurance that the internal controls exist and are effective and adequate. To gather and document sufficient appropriate audit evidences to form the basis for audit reports.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Auditing Operations:
    1. Assist Senior Manager (SM) in preparing audit program and conduct audit in accordance with the audit standards.
    2. Monitor and control the auditors/audit assistants to ensure assigned tasks are completed within the allotted time frame.
    3. Execute the audit programs and collect appropriate audit evidence.
    4. Ensure work papers, audit conclusions, and audit file are prepared in accordance with the Unit's standards.
    5. Writing audit reports for the areas under review.
    6. Assist SM on special assignments and investigations.
    7. Assist in preparation of Internal Audit Plan.
    8. Work with business owners to implement audit recommendations.
  2. Administration:
    1. Assist in preparing various reports in accordance with audit plan as and when requested by Audit Committee and management.
    2. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

  1. Good time management skills.
  2. Good knowledge of International Accounting and Auditing Standards.
  3. Good knowledge of Accounting/Audit.
  4. Good knowledge and understanding of Telecommunication functioning and operations.
  5. Working knowledge of Computer Aided Audit Tools (Audit Management & Analytical).

Education / Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  2. Professional certification preferred.

Experience:

  1. A minimum of 5 - 6 years' experience in Audit Function.
  2. Telecommunication experience preferred.
