Job Description

Minimum 8 years of extensive experience in Hyperion implementation.

Not a support consultant nor a member of the implementation team for the application nor rollout implementation team member. The candidate must have implemented Oracle Hyperion:

  1. Minimum 4 implementations: cycle from start installation, requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, training, testing to Go-Live.
  2. Minimum 2 implementations: should be with the public sector, Government, SIFMIS, IFMIS, GIFMIS including knowledge on pre-budget processes/activities for generating budget ceiling, issuance of budget call circular, budget process management/workflow and report building using Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  1. Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, meetings, etc. to understand business requirements and configure the system in line with the business requirements.
  2. Conduct CRP and Sprint sessions with business owners.
  3. Document requirements and translate requirements to application.
  4. Work with technical consultants in understanding business requirements.
  5. Develop business and application documents to meet the requirements of the client.
  6. Manage documentation and deliverables related to Hyperion Planning and Budgeting.
  7. Develop and maintain planning data entry forms.
  8. Develop and maintain business rules.
  9. Manage Dimension Hierarchies.
  10. Develop and maintain task lists, calculation scripts, and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in the Hyperion Planning.
  11. Manage Hyperion Essbase, Planning, Strategy Finance, SmartView, DRM, and Reporting.
  12. Design and maintain all Hyperion financial reports.
  13. Provide support and functional assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart View for Planning and Essbase/Reporting.
  14. Conduct user acceptance testing and involve in every phase of implementation.
  15. Provide end-to-end documentation related to complete the installation and implementation of the Hyperion planning application. This includes deliverables attached to each phase of the project.
  16. Effectively and accurately communicate with management regarding project status, issue identification, and remediation.
  17. Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  18. Having strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and excellent communication.
  19. Other duties may be assigned.
Functional Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
  1. Business Requirement and Analysis.
  2. Strong Documentation Skills.
  3. Ability to translate requirements to application.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Financial Reporting Studio (FRS).
  6. Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
  7. The ability to work closely with users to understand business needs and tailor solutions to those requirements.
  8. 8+ years' experience with Oracle Hyperion planning.
  9. Maintain a positive can-do attitude and proactively reach out to users to provide solutions to issues.
  10. Some level of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite. Able to know how budget data from Hyperion Planning interacts with E-Business Suite application and vice versa.
