Job Brief:
We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead the consulting and implementation of products and solutions for OSOSs valued customers worldwide, tailored to their specific needs. The Functional Consultant will oversee end-to-end implementation, including requirement gathering, product configuration and customization, data migration, hands-on training, testing, and support. Additionally, you will collaborate with the presales and support teams while working closely with the product owner to identify enhancement requirements.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating and explaining the OSOS product portfolio effectively.
  • Consulting and implementing tailored solutions for OSOSs local and international customers.
  • Ensuring smooth end-to-end implementation, covering:
    • Requirement gathering and analysis.
    • Product configuration and customization.
    • Data migration and testing.
    • Hands-on training and post-implementation support.
  • Delivering tangible benefits to customers and fostering positive feedback.
  • Ensuring long-term benefit sustainment through ongoing support and optimization.
  • Continuously improving and refining the implementation process to maximize benefits.
  • Contributing ideas to enhance the product and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Sharing lessons learned and key takeaways for future implementations.
  • Acting as a collaboration among various stakeholders, including requirement gathering, design, testing, and delivery phases.
  • Documenting user requirements using business analysis best practices.
  • Presenting requirements clearly to suit stakeholders at different levels.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, product owners, technical teams, and support teams.
  • Being available for travel within and outside the country as per project needs.
  • Supporting presales and sales teams when required.
RequirementsSkills and Expertise
  • Strong communication skills to demonstrate products, engage with customers, and provide convincing solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one well-known ERP or Business Support System (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Zoho, Odoo, IFS, etc.).
  • Domain knowledge in ERP applications (e.g., HRMS, Finance, Supply Chain, CRM, Manufacturing, Logistics, Property Management, etc.).
  • Expertise in defining, modeling, analyzing, and documenting cross-functional business processes (As-Is and To-Be).
  • Proficiency in requirement documentation and visualization tools (e.g., BPM, Context Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams).
  • Knowledge of software development practices.
  • Hands-on experience with functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or a similar role.
  • Successful completion of at least 3-5 full implementation lifecycles for any known ERP or product.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT.
  • Business Analysis Certification (CBAP) is a plus.
Languages
  • Fluent in English / Arabic Speaker (prefer Omani National)
