Human Resources Director

Salwa Health Care LLC (Sohar, Oman) is launching a new healthcare facility providing rehabilitation and detoxification services in partnership with the Ministry of Health of Oman. We are now recruiting an HR Director to assist with all pre and post-operating requirements of the center.

The ideal candidate will act as an employee champion and a leader of change. You will plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's human resource function and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Manage staff across the Residential Treatment Center, Detox Unit, and Outpatient Clinic; monitor performance management systems and professional development of employees; foster a positive and inclusive work environment; act as the primary point of contact for staff-related regulatory matters; assist with regular communication of goals and updates; oversee payroll and staff benefits; maintain confidentiality of employee information; address employee grievances; assist management with identifying training needs and programs.
  2. Strategic Recruitment and Workforce Planning: Assist in developing and maintaining organizational chart; define and document roles and responsibilities; design competitive remuneration packages; advertise vacancies; manage the end-to-end recruitment process; maintain accurate HR records; generate HR reports and metrics.
  3. Policy Development and Regulatory Compliance: Drive visa application and processing for expatriate staff; coordinate the relocation process for expatriates; assist in the design and implementation of onboarding programs; develop and implement HR policies; ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in human resources or management
  • 7+ years of professional HR experience, ideally from a services-oriented business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
