Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Khasab is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of carpentry, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is open to candidates of any nationality, but preference will be given to those with their own visa and women looking for employment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors
  2. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
  3. Build scaffolding and other temporary structures as needed
  4. Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
  5. Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  6. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
  2. In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
  3. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  4. Good mathematical skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects
  5. Physical stamina and strength to handle tools and materials safely
  6. Own visa or ability to obtain one in a timely manner (if non-national)
  7. Women are encouraged to apply
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
