Aircraft Electrical Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Perform on and off aircraft and equipment electrical and environmental systems maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting components.
2. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance on and off equipment.
3. Service aircraft with fuel, oil, grease, hydraulic fluid, air, oxygen, and nitrogen.
4. Launch and recover aircraft, including tie-down, cover, plug and pin removal and installation, marshaling, and assisting with pilot preflight procedures.
5. Operate GSE, flight line vehicles, and other support equipment as required.
6. Order aircraft and equipment parts.
7. Assist in aircraft and equipment movement and conduct flight line foreign object prevention walks.
8. Complete maintenance documentation using IMDS and required forms.
9. Be willing to train in other aircraft maintenance tasks as needed.
10. Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
11. Assist in the upkeep of assigned facilities and grounds as required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with F-16 Block 40 aircraft.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
