Job Summary

The Integrated Avionics Specialist is responsible for the installation, repair, testing, and modification of complex avionics systems on F-16 Block 50 aircraft. This specialist operates these systems using aircraft controls to determine operational conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Interpreting system operating characteristics to identify malfunctions in avionics systems.
  2. Removing and installing components, performing alignment, calibration, and bore sight of avionics systems.
  3. Inspecting, analyzing, and evaluating avionics systems.
  4. Reviewing maintenance procedures and recommending improvements.
  5. Providing on-the-job training and supervising technician work.
Requirements:
  • Achieve a 7 skill level in AFSC 2A3X2 F-16 Block 50 Integrated Avionics.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting F-16 Block 50 or equivalent; 8 years supporting F-16 aircraft.
