How You Will Make An Impact
As our Corporate Affairs Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining Arla's image, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring effective communication to support our goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key authorities (municipalities, ministries, customs, ports, embassies).
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of applications to relevant government entities (e.g., label approvals, product registration etc.).
- Follow up on application status, approvals, and any required documentation or sample collection in collaboration with different teams .
- Act as the liaison between the business and government stakeholders for routine, operational matters.
- Provide regular updates to local teams and escalate any regulatory blockers that may require regional support.
- Support the execution of corporate events.
- Reporting back on a daily/weekly basis to the business (local that feed into regional) on the progress/update of his tasks to get the right local/regional support, if needed.
What Will Make You Successful
We're looking for a Corporate Affair Professional who combines strong relationship-building abilities with a strategic mindset. To succeed in this role, you will need
- Experience in corporate communications, government relations, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proactive and solution-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
