Nestled between rugged mountains and the pristine waters of the Sea of Oman, Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa spans 124 acres, featuring three hotels: Al Waha (262 rooms), Al Bandar (198 rooms), and Al Husn (180 rooms). The resort offers 22 F&B outlets, an 1,056 sqm ballroom with 8 breakout rooms, recreational facilities, and a spa with 12 treatment villas.

The Resort Animator is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and delivering recreational, fitness, and entertainment activities for guests of all ages, creating memorable holiday experiences through engaging and fun activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Activity Planning & Delivery: Organize and lead daily entertainment programs including games, sports, fitness classes, pool activities, and evening shows. Ensure activities are safe, inclusive, and align with the resort's brand and guest profile. Adjust activities based on weather, guest participation, and feedback.
  • Guest Engagement: Interact with guests enthusiastically to encourage participation. Create a welcoming atmosphere for solo travelers, families, and groups. Maintain high energy and a positive attitude to motivate and entertain guests.
    • Children & Family Programs: Plan and supervise creative activities for children, ensuring safety and well-being. Communicate with parents/guardians about children's experiences.
      • Performance & Shows: Participate in evening entertainment, rehearse regularly, and assist in preparing props and costumes.
        • Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate with other departments, provide feedback and reports, and support promotional efforts.
          • Standards & Safety: Follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness, and uphold grooming and behavior standards.
