Job Duties
  1. Support tax reporting and compliance under direct supervision, with a basic understanding of the Internal Revenue Code or applicable statutory authority and its applicability to financial (general ledger) data.
  2. Prepare computations with oversight from senior personnel.
  3. Assist with the preparation of statutory filings and/or tax returns, work with tax law and accounting provisions, and support Tax Managers during audits and responses to taxing authority notices.
  4. Focus on compliance or provision activities, provide guidance on indirect taxation issues, and advise on best practices for document preparation and submission to the Internal Revenue Service.
  5. Perform federal, international, and/or state tax research as required.

Typically requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting or a related field, with 1+ years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and competency. Applicable professional certification is preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.
