Regulatory Affairs Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory affairs, with a focus on cosmetics and personal care products. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all cosmetic products comply with international, regional, and national regulations. This includes maintaining regulatory files, technical dossiers, and legal documentation, as well as overseeing the ingredient compliance process.

The specialist will also be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining Fragrance Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and Product Information Files (PIFs) for regulatory submissions. Additionally, they will manage the registration and notification of cosmetic products with relevant regulatory authorities and coordinate regulatory submissions, including formulation reviews and label compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regulatory files, technical dossiers, and legal documentation for all cosmetic products.
  • Oversee the ingredient compliance process, ensuring all raw materials meet regulatory standards.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Fragrance Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and Product Information Files (PIFs) for regulatory submissions.
  • Manage the registration and notification of cosmetic products with relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate regulatory submissions, including formulation reviews and label compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Regulatory Affairs, pharmacy, chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, and product registration within the fragrances, cosmetics, or personal care industry.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
