Electrical Systems Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Inspector to join our team.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this role is to inspect the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications. This includes verifying that Inspections Reports (IRs) align with work completion and readiness for inspection. Additionally, the successful candidate will monitor the correct installation of cable trays, earthing systems, and devices, as well as ensure fire alarm, data, lighting control, and power systems meet quality standards.

This role requires close coordination with mechanical and architectural inspectors on shared spaces and false ceiling areas, as well as adherence to local electrical codes and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to document and report inspection findings and contractor performance effectively.

We value experience in complex projects, such as theme parks, hospitals, or airports, where ride systems, show lighting, and life safety electrical systems are involved. Strong understanding of testing protocols and international electrical standards is essential for this position.

The selected candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and possess 7+ years of inspection experience. Familiarity with ride systems, show lighting, and life safety electrical systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect the installation of electrical systems, conduits, panels, and terminations.
  • Verify IRs align with work completion and readiness for inspection.
  • Monitor correct installation of cable trays, earthing systems, and devices.
  • Ensure fire alarm, data, lighting control, and power systems meet quality standards.
  • Witness testing and commissioning activities, including insulation resistance, continuity, and grounding.
  • Raise NCRs and track rectification measures related to electrical works.
  • Coordinate with mechanical and architectural inspectors on shared spaces and false ceiling areas.
  • Adhere to local electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Document and report inspection findings and contractor performance.
