Job Title: Distributed Systems Engineer
- We are looking for a skilled Distributed Systems Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team.
Ceph & Distributed Storage Engineers design, build, and deploy scalable distributed storage systems using Ceph, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other technologies. They work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of these systems in production environments. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for engineering solutions to scale, collaborating with field teams, and ensuring the needs of customers are met.
Key Responsibilities:• Write high-quality, rigorously designed software in Python and Golang
• Collaborate proactively with a globally distributed team
• Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them
• Contribute to technical documentation defining best practices for authoring high-quality operators
• Develop and maintain software for delivery, operations, and life-cycle management of Ceph storage
We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Computer Science or related fields, experience with writing modern, maintainable Python, and knowledge of Ceph storage. Strong communication skills, curiosity, flexibility, and a passion for technology and working with brilliant people are essential.
