Job Title: Financial Director

Treasury Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's liquidity and cash flow to meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Develop and implement working capital optimization strategies.

Funding Strategy & Capital Structure:

  • Lead the development of medium- and long-term funding strategies.
  • Evaluate and secure funding options, such as bank loans, bonds, securitization, and credit lines.
  • Negotiate financing arrangements and lease-backed facilities.

Treasury Operations & Controls:

  • Oversee daily treasury operations, including payments, cash pooling, and intercompany transactions.
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment to prevent fraud and errors.

Financial Risk Management:

  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate risks related to interest rates, currencies, and liquidity.
  • Implement hedging strategies as needed.

Banking & Investor Relations:

  • Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors.
  • Manage bank account structures, fees, and covenant compliance.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Provide accurate and timely treasury reporting to internal stakeholders and regulators.
  • Comply with relevant financial, legal, and regulatory frameworks, such as IFRS, Basel, AML/KYC, and local central bank regulations.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. Treasury-related certifications, such as CTP, CFA, or ACT, are highly valued.

At least 5 years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, is necessary. Prior experience in leasing, banking, asset finance, or capital-intensive financial services environments is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in raising debt capital and managing complex treasury operations is essential. Strong analytical ability, financial modeling competence, and excellent negotiation and communication skills are also required.
