The role of a Restaurant Server is to provide exceptional service to guests in a timely manner. This involves ensuring that all operational tasks are completed efficiently, including maintaining mise en place, operating the point of sale system, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the outlet's concept and food and beverage offerings to verbally explain them to guests.
  • Maintaining mise en place shift to shift and during service to ensure an efficient service.
  • Operating the required steps on the POS system to process food and beverage orders.
  • Delivering service by understanding guest requirements.
  • Carrying out all tasks in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Upselling services and products to guests at all times to enhance service and generate increased revenue.
  • Processing MOHG Gift cards and other non-cash methods of payment.
  • Performing any tasks relating to billing according to hotel standards and cashiering policies.
  • Presentation of dishes in compliance with hotel standards and food & beverage specifications.
  • Conserving outlet equipment and utensils in good condition through proper handling and side duties as assigned.
  • Assisting in picking up stocks, including linen, beverage, dried goods, and arranging them accordingly.
  • Ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date.
  • Informing management and kitchen colleagues of any special guest preferences or allergies.
  • Supporting other outlets as assigned by the Restaurant/Outlet Manager.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues and superiors to avoid misunderstandings.
  • Being a team player and cooperating with colleagues in operational tasks.
  • Observing guest needs and expectations and consistently delighting and satisfying every guest.
  • Creating WOW moments to surprise and delight guests in the Restaurants through gestures and actions.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance to the MOHG Legendary Quality Experiences (LQEs), the MOHG Pillars, and the respective service standards of MOQA.
