Middleware Integration Specialist

This role involves designing and developing integration solutions using industry-standard tools. The Middleware Integration Specialist will be responsible for integrating applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and optimal system performance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in design and development of IT software solutions, with a strong background in integration services and APIs. A bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering is required, along with relevant certifications such as IBM App Connect Enterprise and IBM MQ.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining complex integration services and APIs
  • Providing technical support for bank's IT projects involving application integration
  • Configuring and testing integration solutions to ensure optimal performance
  • Performing monitoring activities for supported systems, including operation of utilities to support customer system and data implementations

Additional requirements include:

  • Formal training in two or more of the IBM Middleware products
  • Strong expertise in REST APIs and Web Services
  • Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems, Banking applications, and RDBMS databases
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

The Middleware Integration Specialist will work closely with various IT teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and services. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
