Position: Patient Care Lead

About the Role

The Patient Care Lead is a key position that oversees the implementation and management of drug access programs in the region. This involves leading and managing a team to ensure timely enrollment of eligible patients into the program(s) while adhering to project workflows and timelines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the Patient Care Team to effectively coordinate with hospitals, pharmacies, and patients for drug access.
  • Liaise with regional and HQ teams as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure eligibility criteria are respected and all processes adhere to SOPPs.
  • Prepare monitoring reports (monthly) with patient numbers and logistics, as well as quality assurance reports (quarterly), for internal use.
  • Maintain and update electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data.
  • PV reporting and reconciliation.
Key Relationships
  • Work closely with program team members.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with project leaders.
Educational Background and Experience
  • A degree in Scientific or Healthcare related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in healthcare or scientific field or NGO is preferred.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English.
