Secure Identity Solutions Engineer
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced engineering manager to build high-performing services and secure identity solutions that will be used across our products. Your team will define how users, clients, and community members access their favorite open source applications.
This is an opportunity for a software engineering manager with a passion for distributed systems operations to help transform the future of identity management. Experience in the identity and access management (IAM) field is desirable but not mandatory.
You will collaborate with upstream open source projects and internal teams to deliver high-quality software deployable on bare metal, public cloud, and Kubernetes.
Your responsibilities include defining the product's technical vision with product management, managing the team backlog, reviewing code, and mentoring junior team members.
You will be involved in all phases of software development: designing software, coding, testing, conducting code reviews, documenting, and troubleshooting issues.
Additionally, you'll work with industry-leading teams ensuring your work is supported by reliable data stores and highly observable via our Observability stack. You'll also engage with broader open source communities through hackfests, webinars, and conferences.

- Experience with container technology and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of software/infrastructure security and performance
- Experience in designing and/or operating large-scale distributed systems
