Senior Audit Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audit Professional to join our team in the Lower Gulf region. As a Senior Audit Professional, you will be responsible for leading audits of medium and small clients, and acting as a semi-senior on large client engagements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead audits of medium and small clients, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Contribute to the planning and strategy of audits, identifying areas of risk and developing effective solutions.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure that all audit work is completed within allocated resources.
  • Prepare and present annual financial statements, management letters, and other key reports to clients.
  • Analyze full financial statements, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate consolidations, particularly in high-risk areas, and ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Develop industry knowledge and expertise to complement functional skills.
  • Coach, review, and delegate work to team members, ensuring timely engagement reviews and effective use of resources.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW, with a minimum of 9 papers completed.
  • Postgraduate experience of 2-3+ years, with a strong understanding of accounting concepts and computer literacy.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English language skills, with Arabic being an advantage.
