The role of an Editor involves reviewing, revising, and finalizing content for publication. This requires strong editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Duties:
  1. Edit and proofread articles, blog posts, reports, social media content, and marketing materials.
  2. Evaluate content alignment with the company's tone, style, and branding guidelines.
  3. Rewrite or reorganize content as necessary to improve readability and flow.
  4. Collaborate with writers and contributors to develop high-quality, engaging content.
  5. Verify all information to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  6. Manage the content calendar and oversee deadlines effectively.
  7. Work closely with design and marketing teams to ensure consistency across media.
  8. Maintain and update editorial guidelines as needed.
  9. Provide constructive feedback to writers and help develop their writing skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Editor, Copy Editor, or similar role (3+ years preferred).
  • Exceptional command of the English language.
  • Strong attention to detail and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO, digital publishing tools, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
