Somewhere in the world, you could be a key figure in shaping the finest dining experiences for guests. As a Head Sommelier at our resort, you will play a crucial role in elevating the culinary experience by ensuring that all established policies and procedures are strictly enforced.

In collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage, you will work towards enhancing the restaurant and culinary experience, continuously assessing food and beverage amenities to ensure alignment with wellness and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menus and daily specials across all outlets.
  • Demonstrate expertise in wine lists and provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of resort facilities and services.

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with 1-3 years of restaurant management experience and 3+ years of demonstrated sommelier experience. A Hospitality Management Degree or some college education is preferred, along with strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

We are looking for someone who is well-versed in global distribution, purchasing, and production processes. Additionally, having worked with wine lists covering various regions would be highly beneficial.

A second spoken language would be an asset, and experience working in remote locations is a plus.
