Production Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Expertise Leader to spearhead production processes and ensure seamless maintenance across diverse production units.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing strategic initiatives to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration among production and maintenance teams.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive maintenance strategies to guarantee optimal equipment reliability and uptime.

This role entails building and leading a high-performing team, providing training and cross-skilling opportunities to ensure versatility and preparedness. Analyze key performance indicators for production and maintenance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Optimize procurement, inventory management, and maintenance schedules to reduce costs and enhance margins.

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, food technology, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.At least 15 years of experience managing diverse production units and maintenance functions, preferably in FMCG or food industries.Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, quality management, and modern maintenance practices.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and international food safety and maintenance standards.
