Metal Fabrication Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Abroad Work. As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques and processes to fabricate and repair metal parts and structures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read Technical Drawings: Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
2. Operate Equipment: Operate welding equipment and tools such as gas torches, arc welders, and plasma cutters.
3. Fabricate or Repair Metal Parts: Fabricate or repair metal parts using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
4. Ensure Quality Control: Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for accuracy and structural integrity.
5. Follow Safety Precautions: Follow safety precautions at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
6. Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Welder or similar role.
• Valid Certification: Valid certification in welding techniques preferred.
• Tech Drawing Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Familiarity with Equipment: Familiarity with different types of welding equipment and tools.
• Physical Dexterity: Excellent physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
• Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
