Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Records Specialist

Are you an expert in aviation records management? Do you have a passion for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements?

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Records Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date aircraft maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft maintenance records, including work packages, technical logs, task cards, component changes, and certifications.
  • Oversee the collection, review, verification, and archiving of all maintenance records.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are properly documented and retained in accordance with regulations.
  • Manage electronic records systems (AMOS) and ensure accurate data entry and maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain document control procedures and version control.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for maintenance records retention, formatting, and accessibility.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing and presenting required documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant discipline; post-graduate degree in a related discipline would be an asset.
  • OR ICAO Type II license with minimum of 10 years of relevant experience preferable in aircraft maintenance records.
  • In-depth knowledge of CAA Oman regulations and industry best practices.
  • Professional certifications in aviation records management (e.g., CAM, CMM) is a plus.
  • Expertise in Engineering and aviation technical services and record keeping.
