As a highly skilled Technical Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Java applications deployed on OpenShift.

You will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues to guarantee high availability and performance. To achieve this, you will work closely with development teams to comprehend application architecture and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and optimize Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Automate deployment processes using Jenkins and integrate with other tools as required.

Configuration Management:

You will develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure and application configuration. This will ensure consistency and reliability of deployments through automated configuration management.

Network and API Integration:

Configure and manage network components to ensure seamless communication between services. You will also implement and manage API integrations, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

Certificate and SSL Management:

Manage and renew SSL certificates for secure communication. Configure and maintain TLS/SSL settings for web servers, APIs, and other services.

Monitoring and Performance Tuning:

Implement monitoring solutions to track application and infrastructure performance. Use monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Perform capacity planning and optimize resource utilization.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and operational procedures. Generate detailed reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
