Cost Management Expert Position

This role focuses on cost control and project monitoring within construction or engineering projects. As a full-time on-site employee located in Oman, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost entry into systems, tracking project performance, and supporting financial planning and risk management efforts.

  • Create and modify work estimates in iTWO estimation software.
  • Track cost and performance development and productivity metrics.
  • Compare planned and actual costs, quantities, and timeframes, and discuss findings with the project team.
  • Develop forecasts for project completion, cash flow, and resource allocation.
  • Provide support for claims and variation orders by supplying relevant data.
  • Identify and assess opportunities and risks, and collaborate with the project team to develop project analyses.
  • Produce monthly reports and review them with management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and quality of the monthly reporting system, forecasting to completion, and risk assessment from site and report findings to management.
  • Oversee Project Controlling matters with various project teams on site and ensure adherence to common project standards.
  • Ongoing improvement of internal processes, workflow management, and tool optimization.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Significant prior experience in cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite and other computer applications.
  • Familiarity with estimation software, particularly iTWO.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
