Primary Music Teacher Position at Aristotle Teachers

Aristotle Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Music Teacher to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to shape the academic and holistic development of young learners within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).

We are committed to providing high-quality music education that fosters a love of music and supports students in developing their musical skills and appreciation. This role also involves planning and leading performances, assemblies, and other musical events that enhance the school community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach engaging and age-appropriate music lessons for primary students.
  • Introduce students to a variety of musical concepts, instruments, and genres.
  • Encourage creativity and participation through singing, instrument playing, movement, and composition activities.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
School Overview:

Aristotle Teachers is a bilingual IB World School situated in Muscat, Oman. We serve the local Omani community, as well as the bilingual expatriate community. Our school is authorized to offer all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and has been recognized with accreditation from the Council for International Schools (CIS).

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is approximately 8,000 USD per month, tax-free, plus benefits including modern housing, relocation assistance, health coverage, professional development opportunities, and contribution towards children's tuition.

We also offer round-trip airfare each year and all the perks of living in one of the safest cities in the world.

Requirements:
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
  • Teaching certification, with a focus on the IB Primary Years Programme preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with the IB PYP curriculum and philosophy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
