Job Description

Project Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with project construction planning, developing cost estimates for assigned projects and contributing to project budget preparation and monitoring financial performance.

  • Implement departmental policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance and quality service delivery.
  • Coordinate with team members.
  • Coach trainees.
  • Interact with other departments to manage assigned projects.

Operational Requirements

  • Manage relationships with internal and external entities, ensuring ethical standards and effective service delivery.
  • Prepare start-up and close-out checklists for construction packages.
  • Help prepare and update detailed project construction schedules.
  • Track drawings, contract documents, submittals, RFIs, change orders and material logs.
  • Develop monthly project status reports and cost analyses.
  • Maintain knowledge of all project plans, specifications and documents.
  • Process payments and invoices promptly.
  • Keep the Head of Development informed of project issues.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in systems, processes and practices.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
