Job Overview
As a key member of the OQ team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the procurement strategy for our alternative energy projects. With a strong focus on strategic sourcing and contract management, you will be responsible for driving value and ensuring the successful delivery of our initiatives.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our business. Reporting directly to the VP Finance, you will lead the procurement function and develop strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier performance.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key OEMs and contractors in the renewable energy market
- Direct and preside over local supplier development through comprehensive programs
- Manage tender board processes and drive synergistic partnerships with other functions

Key Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 16 years of relevant experience in the energy sector
- Excellent knowledge of procurement and contracts management
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate across all levels
- In-depth understanding of the renewable energy market and procurement practices in Oman
