Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Rotating Engineer Commissioning Expert to join our team. As a key member of the commissioning team, you will be responsible for executing commissioning and start-up activities of mechanical rotating equipment, ensuring proper transition from construction to steady-state operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in machine conditioning and monitoring software, analyzing and determining potential machine reliability issues, and troubleshooting operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Execute commissioning and start-up activities of assigned projects, adhering to HSE, AI-PSM requirements, and project schedule.
  • Support and participate in multi-disciplinary activities as part of site execution and completion process, including troubleshooting of equipment, units, and facility operation, RCA, and problem-solving.
  • Identify hazards and associated risks related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities and participate in risk assessments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of oil and gas industry experience, including front-line supervisory roles for maintenance and/or commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant industrial codes (ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, EN, BS, NFPA, etc.).
  • Experience in machine conditioning and monitoring software.
