Electronics Specialist

Job Summary:

This Electronics Specialist position involves providing technical support for electronic equipment used in security screening and cargo detection. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site periodic and scheduled maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems and subsystems.
  • Perform moderately complex electronic technical functions related to testing, modification, and assembly of electronic components.
  • Utilize normal and specialized electronic test equipment.
  • Handle on-call requests for equipment repair.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the operation and capabilities of assigned electronic equipment.

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering or relevant technical field.
  • At least 3 years work experience in conducting mechanical/technical work and repairmen and maintenance of equipment's including electronic systems.
  • Expert knowledge of safety protocols and ability to ensure reliable operation of screening detection equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English language.
  • Clean driving record for purposes of insurability.

Working Environment:

The Electronics Specialist will work at various operational sites throughout Oman, relocating as required by the needs of the organization.
