Senior Web Engineer Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on our Web Engineering team, you will drive best practices across the team, leading technical conversations and identifying risks to communicate with relevant stakeholders. You will own the development of large projects, encouraging rigorous and efficient engineering processes. Your responsibilities include designing specifications, understanding risks, reducing complexity, and taking on technical lead roles to drive initiatives to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement well-tested and documented software
  • Debug and fix issues encountered by users
  • Lead in our engineering process through code and architectural reviews
  • Contribute to technical documentation
  • Deploy and operate services developed by the team
What We Are Looking For:
  • Curate technical quality standards by designing architectural approaches to support business objectives
  • Value soft skills and be passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self-motivated
  • Display exceptional academic track records from high school and university
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or have a compelling narrative about your alternative path
