This exciting role involves working closely with our Store team to develop and operate backend services that power marketplaces. You will write clean web service APIs in Python (and optionally Golang) to support CLI and web frontend clients.
You will design and implement new features and enhancements from specifications to production and ongoing operations at scale. You will review code and technical designs produced by other engineers, discuss ideas, and collaborate on finding good solutions.
Our ideal candidate has demonstrated professional proficiency in developing public-facing APIs and web applications using Python, has a broad technology base with a preference for backend code and infrastructure, and is comfortable with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
