Project Cost Control Specialist

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our project cost control efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to establish and implement effective cost control methodologies, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Liaise with corporate and client accounting groups to develop and maintain a project cost control framework.">
  • Develop and implement procedures for estimating project costs, including modifications and additions to existing facilities.">
  • Prepare and validate estimates, ensuring they meet the required level of accuracy and compliance with established procedures.">
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to develop project forecasts and analyze costs.">
  • Liaise with clients to clarify cost-related issues and develop timely and meaningful invoices.">
  • Prepare and review project financial reports, ensuring accurate and complete data is presented.">
  • Implement financial controls, including authorizations of expenditure and cash flow projections.">
  • Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.">
  • Ensure effective coordination and cooperation between team members, particularly regarding cost, planning, and procurement matters.">
  • Prepare and control Inter Entity Work Orders.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.">
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in cost analysis and project accounting.">
  • Experience with SAP or similar cost controller systems is preferred.">
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.">
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.">
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload, with flexibility to work varied shifts and hours as required.">
