Power Engineering Lead

Job Description
">We are seeking a highly skilled Power Engineering Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading power engineering projects, including electrical system design, power distribution, transmission lines, and substations.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power system studies, and protection schemes. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
">Key Responsibilities
">Lead power engineering projects, including electrical system design, power distribution, transmission lines, and substations.
Conduct power system studies, including short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, and dynamic motor starting.
Develop protection and metering schemes for high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage systems.
Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and material requisitions (MR) for electrical equipment.
Review vendor offers and participate in technical bid evaluations (TBE).
Lead a team of engineers and designers throughout project execution, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
About You
">To be considered for this role, you should have:
">A bachelor's degree in electrical or power engineering from a recognized university or institution.
At least 8 years of experience in electrical and power engineering in the oil and gas sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, including HV/MV/LV systems, protections, and earthing.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
