We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cost Controller to join our team. This is a key position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation of the project budget and coordinate the detailed preparation and issuance of various budgets (internal & external) with input from the project team members.
  • Provide cost control reports and assist in cost trend analysis, monitoring and assessment of commitments, variations, and value of work done.
  • Monitor and control project expenditures, verify invoices and cash calls from contractors and vendors, and prepare cash flow estimates and final forecast costs.
Requirements
  • Maintenance of comprehensive cost control procedures, establishment of costing philosophy and methodology for the project, and provision of cost support and guidance to the project team.
  • Implementation of an efficient invoicing process between different locations of each project, monitoring of invoices in liaison with the accounting department, and enabling timely payment of invoices.

This role requires a high level of understanding of SAP systems and project requirements, as well as proficiency in IT skills such as Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Accounting, Engineering, or a similar field, with at least 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years of experience in a supervisory position.

The service holder will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, registration, analysis, processing, and filing of all project cost documentation. They will also contribute to the delivery of the project on time and within budget.
