Safety and Maintenance Expert

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and attention to detail to effectively manage the maintenance department and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the proper upkeep of our facilities, including front and back-of-house areas, equipment, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Operations: Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to the required standard by overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department.
  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of maintenance staff to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Safety and Security: Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, and uphold safety and security protocols.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Identify opportunities for savings and implement cost-effective solutions by managing departmental budgets and costs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of all equipment, including AV, M&E, building systems, boilers, HVAC, electrical, water, fire systems, kitchen, laundry, gas, etc.

Fundamental Objectives:

  • Ensure that assets and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Minimize downtime and ensure maximum efficiency in maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and schedules.
  • Support environmental sustainability principles.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or related field is required.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance operations and equipment is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other departments and vendors is required.
