Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Commercial team as a Data Centre Solutions Specialist. This role involves designing tailored data centre solutions addressing complex infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with account managers to qualify opportunities and define solution strategies.
  • Engage directly with clients to gather requirements and design solutions covering data centre facility design, power & cooling systems, cabling, racks, and white space planning.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, Bills of Materials, and RFP responses.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase solution capabilities.
  • Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure seamless handover and delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends (edge, hybrid cloud, green data centres) to guide customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in pre-sales or solution consulting within data centres or IT infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of data centre standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE).
  • Familiarity with cloud, hybrid, and edge computing architectures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to bridge business needs with technical design and articulate clear value propositions.
