Water Management Engineer

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water management, with experience in hydraulic analysis and data interpretation.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can accurately perform water balance calculations and analyze network performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating water network parameters, including pressure, flow rates, consumption patterns, losses/NRW, and leak detection indicators.

A proficiency in Excel and water management software is required, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

With a focus on reducing Non-Revenue Water (NRW), this position plays a critical role in supporting sustainable water resource management in Oman.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Hydraulic Studies: Provide engineering input for hydraulic studies and network optimization.
  • Data Analysis: Perform detailed water balance calculations and analyze network performance.
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate water network parameters.
  • NRW Reduction Strategies: Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of NRW reduction strategies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and deliver technical reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, clients, and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Civil, Hydraulic, Water, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in NRW projects, water loss management, and hydraulic analysis.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of water balance methodology, proficiency in Excel, and hands-on experience with water management software.
  • Qualifications: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
