Job Title: Cybersecurity Project Coordinator

The role of a Cybersecurity Project Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of engineering project management and coordination for PCD-IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational objectives.
  2. Cybersecurity Threat Response: Respond to high-priority security incidents outside regular working hours, investigating root causes and recommending effective remediation strategies in accordance with established procedures.
  3. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to routine activities or projects, including inventory management, backup logs, restoration logs, user auditing logs, and checklists.
  4. Design Specifications and Drawings: Support the preparation of PCD design specifications and drawings for cybersecurity-related projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  5. Maintenance Tracking and Coordination: Monitor planned maintenance execution and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
  6. Cybersecurity Awareness: Contribute to raising awareness about PCD Cybersecurity within the Oman LNG community, promoting a culture of vigilance and proactive defense.
  7. Compliance and Assurance: Ensure all work aligns with health, safety, and environment policies and procedures, fostering a culture of responsibility and compliance.
  8. Quality Assurance and Reporting: Develop and implement specific work instructions and inspection/testing schedules to enhance section compliance, contributing to the quality assurance system.
  9. Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, cost tracking reports, and issue monthly financial and physical reports per project, providing stakeholders with informed insights.
  10. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to introduce systems and tools that drive step-change improvements in complex availability, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in engineering science (Instrumentation, Electronics) is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry is required, with a minimum of 2 years as a senior project engineer.
  • Specific Skills:
    • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking at IELTS level 4.
    • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Able to analyze and resolve problems within the discipline.
    • Project Scope Definition and Cost Benefit Analysis: Experienced in project scope definition, cost-benefit analysis, project execution, implementation planning, commissioning, and post-implementation review.
    • Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Critical thinking skills to evaluate solutions and approaches using logic and reasoning.
    • Control Automation Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with Control Automation Electrical Engineering principles and practices.
    • Planning and Scheduling Knowledge: Understanding of planning and scheduling concepts.
    • Maintenance Execution Implementation Plans Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance execution implementation plans.
    • Computer Maintenance Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of computer maintenance and cybersecurity principles.
    • HSE Compliance: Committed to meeting organizational HSE targets.
    • Quality Audits: Able to conduct timely quality audits as per schedule.
