Database Developer Duties and Responsibilities

To create well-organized databases, a database developer must be able to perform a variety of tasks including:

  1. Design database systems: The main responsibility is to analyze organizational needs and produce effective database systems accordingly. This includes collecting data, analyzing it, designing algorithms, drawing flowcharts, and implementing code based on these designs.
  2. Test databases: Conduct performance testing to ensure proper operation and error-free performance. Troubleshoot issues, correct errors, and re-test as necessary. Create test reports and suggest improvements.
  3. Develop database documentation: Write comprehensive documentation and operational manuals, including details of any changes or improvements made to the database.

Collaborate with the front-end development team: Once databases are developed and integrated with front-end modules, work together to test the integrated system and fix any errors.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases, including query languages
  • Experience in .NET Visual Studio (VB.NET and C#)
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
  • Proficiency in English
  • Good character and eagerness to learn
