Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to lead all activities pertaining to planning services for OLNG Projects.

  • Job Description:

    This role is responsible for delivering project planning and scheduling to meet project timelines, tracking project progress, identifying critical path, and exploiting opportunities for improvement. The successful candidate will also develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures, Project Controls Systems, and interfaces with financial accounting systems within established procedures and guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Deliver project planning and scheduling to meet project timelines.

    2. Track project progress, identify critical path, and exploit opportunities for improvement.

    3. Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures, Project Controls Systems, and interfaces with financial accounting systems within established procedures and guidelines.

    4. Provide guidance on project plans and schedules using standard business software such as Primavera.

    5. Cordinate risk workshops, track actions, and maintain updated Risk Registers.

    6. Coordinate Management of Change (MoC) workshops, track actions, and maintain updated MoC Registers.

    7. Advise project teams of deviations to plan, recommending corrective action to maintain schedule or cost.

    8. Review and assign cost control codes in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure and Standard Code of Accounts for invoices received, ensuring compliance with contractually allowable compensation.

    9. Monitor project procurement activities, adjusting timing and procurement cost deviations as necessary.

    10. Contribute to project proposals/project execution plans, including pricing and cash flows.

    11. Prepare accurate monthly/Weekly/Ad-Hoc reports providing progress updates, critical path analysis, and MOC summaries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, etc.)
